Lydia and Will

Lydia Kotsirea and Will Lakin have been musically bound for nearly 10 years. Having shared their time at Leeds Conservatoire, they have collaborated on a number of different original music projects: writing, recording and performing together, tending to offer up modern Soul and Jazz treats. Their most recent project was as part of the ‘The Belgrave House Band’ where they embarked upon a 14 date UK-wide tour playing Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back To Black’, front to back: Lydia as lead singer, putting on display her prowess as a powerful, virtuosic and mesmerising vocalist and entertainer, and Will as a styled and exciting guitarist and musical director for the 10-piece band. Before this tour, with The Belgrave House Band they performed albums in full by Erykah Badu, Destiny’s Child, Lauryn Hill and Outkast, demonstrating their versatility, depth of understanding and love for the music.

Now they’re performing as an exclusive duo act, playing some of their favourite Blues, Jazz, Soul, Funk, RnB and Pop for the people. Just as comfortable poised by a speakeasy’s cocktail bar or centre stage at a packed out theatre, Lydia and Will deliver.
