Sophie Speed Quartet, led by recent Leeds Conservatoire jazz graduate Sophie Speed on saxophone, showcases a passion for the jazz tradition. Sophie draws inspiration from legends like Dexter Gordon, Hank Mobley, Cannonball Adderley and John Coltrane. Joined by the talents of Jamil Sheriff on piano, Sam Quintana on bass, and Miles Pillinger on drums, the quartet dives deep into the jazz canon, delivering a dynamic blend of musical prowess and reverence for the genre's rich heritage.
